Jay’s Personal Profile

“Jay Bird” is a stunning, typey Dalmatian with a square silhouette, excellent topline, strong rear and beautiful muscular shoulder. Jay’s head is shapely and masculine; his neck long and clean. Jay has a perfect tail, saber-straight and carried behind him. He has fantastic color, clean spots and dark pigmentation. Jay has the classic heart-shaped spot on his nose that leaves no doubt he’s a “Jester” kid.

Jay has a smooth, easy sidegait and an absolutely flawless up & back. Like his sister, Lilith, he is a natural athlete who can trot easily for miles, but he would just as soon roll around in the soft grass or pick tomatoes from his mom’s garden. This guy loves swimming and will dive into almost any body of water bigger than a bucket.

Jay is the leader and the alpha dog around Tandava. He gets along with everybody and is the easiest dog we’ve ever had. He lies on his back and puts his feet in the air so we can Dremel his toenails. He’s happy to stand on the grooming table and be vacuumed and he doesn’t even mind having his teeth brushed. What a joy.

So far we are pleased with Jay’s progress in the conformation ring and look forward to his eventual success in obedience and agility.
