Winning isn’t everything…
Competition events with Dalmatians can be among the most rewarding experiences you’ll ever have. These highly intelligent and athletic animals are a joy to train and to learn from. Our energetic spotted friends excel in many AKC sanctioned events that are fulfilling and enriching for the whole family. It is not unusual for one talented and well-trained Dalmatian to earn AKC titles in conformation, obedience and agility as well as the Road Trial certificate awarded by the Dalmatian Club of America.

Dog shows and performance events are an excellent way for youngsters to learn sportsmanship and patience as well as care and responsibility for another loving, living being. Competitive events and breed-specific clubs are also a great way to meet others who share your enthusiasm for Dalmatians and the many sports in which they compete. Through our dog training and showing activities, we’ve met many wonderful people and made friends we’ll keep for life.

Win or lose, we never forget our dogs are pets first. With that in mind, we love going to shows, visiting our friends and being with our dogs in activities that make us better people—mentally, emotionally and physically. These experiences also help us understand the Dalmatian breed and our inexplicably strong bond with these talented, intelligent and beautiful dogs.
